Working through challenging situations in lif can feel overwhelming. We often have
little control over situations or life events, however, we do have control over how we
think about and choose to react to them. My sessions focus on choices, solutions,
problem solving skills that you already possess and new ones to consider, goals and
change. I specialize in Brief Therapy, Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Equine
Assisted Psychotherapy, blended families, individual, couple and family therapy and
treatments for anxiety and depression.

Special Interests

Typically clients who see me are:

• Adults who suffer from the long term effects of growing up in dysfunctional, addicted or abusive families
• Couples and individualshw o want to resolve relationship problems, and learn how to create and sustain constructive, long-term relationships
• Children and teens who struggle with symptoms of ADD/ADHD, behavioral concerns, depression and/or anxiety
• Adult children of aging parents struggling to find balance between caring for their own children as well as their parents

Experience

• 2009-present – True Vine Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Lawton, MI – Volunteer. This volunteer organization provides assistance to at risk youth. Combining animal husbandry, riding skills and team building activities, youth gain confidence, skill and relationship building skills.
